So how exactly this happened is, I came in as first pick, and our second pick immediately said “yi jungle only”.
Didn’t care much about it, and after the ban phase I took as usual Shaco jungle, seeing him instantly locking in Yi jungle aswell, I expected it to be a normal Double Jungle and tabbed out till game started. And then I realized everyone was having Smite, with pretty much Jungler champions. But everyone still played the game normally, can’t say if anyone flamed or not, since I didn’t have chat showed on screen, didn’t want to either. 😀
And we all played normally, since we didn’t have a proper botlane, mostly Yi sitting bot, me and Fiddlesticks eventually helping out, and we had Lee midlane, Aatrox toplane.
After game chat seemed cool, some were shocked and surprised we won this like that, again It didn’t surprise me or anything, was a fun game though. 😀
At that moment I realized how strong smite actually has gotten, having a new camp, the Rift Herald on the map, Smite is just really useful overall, with the strong machete upgrades aswell.
I think this might give Smite toplane a new chance again, and maybe even midlane, botlane, it can be very useful for many things afterall…
