Welcome to a first-hand preview of Hogwarts Legacy featuring brand NEW gameplay footage!

I was recently invited to a private gameplay session where I had the opportunity to play Hogwarts Legacy for the first time. The footage presented here was captured at a private gameplay demo before launch and does not include the day 1 patch. It’s running in Performance Mode on a PS5. Travel and accommodations for the event were covered by WB Games.

In our two-hour session with the game, we were able to explore the Hogwarts grounds, select areas inside the castle, and then one of the game’s main missions, which you’ll see here shortly.

Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. For the first time, experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Now you can take control of the action and be at the center of your own adventure in the wizarding world. Your legacy is what you make of it.

Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled for release on February 10, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The Deluxe and Collector’s Editions will launch with 72 hours of early access to the game on February 7, 2023.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions will launch on April 4, 2023. Hogwarts Legacy is also confirmed for the Nintendo Switch with a release date of July 25, 2023.
