Returning to the roots of the channel, I’m back to making a bullet hell adventure RPG style game.

R-Chain is a combination of interesting game mechanics, involving audio analysis to procedurally generate bullet patterns that the player can proceed to detonate and cause chain reactions with.

The goal of my game is to maximize score by creating massive chain reactions and making full use of every multiplier bonus and
boss rewards that occur. Every level is generated in real-time in accordance to the frequency spectrum and length of the chosen song to play. Play using your own music to discover interesting surprises and behaviors! Inspired by Every Extend.

I worked on all aspects of the game except for the sound effects. One music track is provided by default.

Shogun: Bullet Hell Shooter

Shogun is a shoot’em up inspired by japanese arcade games of the 90’s.

We created this game as a tribute to the old-school manic shooters (aka bullet hell or danmaku) but enhanced with a modern, touch based game-interface and easy to read HD graphics. As gamers ourselves, our first goal was to create a game that we wanted to play.

Here it is, my first game made in Construct 2. I really, really love this software, it’s so useful and easy to use. Anyways, it’s finished. It’s very short, but it uses all 100 events allowed in the demo version of the program, so i can’t go any further.


-Major graphics overhaul, more detail on sprites, scrolling background, etc.

-Score events, once you hit a certain score, you will get a pop-up and a narrator saying “excellent, extreme, awesome,” etc.

-Added title screen and ending screen.

-Adjusted the shooting patterns of the orange enemies to be more difficult.

I realize that you can go under the white bar to the right and skip the whole game, but where’s the fun in that? Just don’t go under it, I can’t fix it without having the final enemies collide into it as well.

Fractals of the Mists: Nightmare

Would love to see more players out there able to carry an orb phase.

These were in no way set up via /gg finangling. These were just standard daily runs gone astray (happens more often than you’d expect) and I happened to be recording during them. No, these weren’t just oneoff’s that I got a lucky recording on. Through practice (and running this fractal several times a day in CM) I’ve been able to get something like an 80% success rate when soloing these orbs. The thing that gets me is not jumping the wave in time, and being locked in the poison without a stunbreak. That or getting caught by the Landmine phase.

This is it, the full demo presentation of my game Bullet Spike, made by me and my close friend Jice.

This game is called Bullet Spike, a My Little Pony fanmade game Visual Novel with Bullet Hell gameplay mixed in at certain points mixed in.

For those of you who actually like me ( XP ), you may have been noticing that I’ve been uploading a lot of artwork and development shots of a game called “Bullet Spike” , a Top down bullet hell game that is inspired by Geist118’s own bullet hell game MyLittlePegasus: Kazuna DoPonyPachi.

In my final semester in ITT, i was tasked with other V.C Class (Visual Communication) students to each build something using all the tools we learned during our two years of learning at the institute. Hi speed bullet hell for the nes!

Their is quite alot going on in this game which causes alot of sprite flickering only adding to the games difficulty. While not to difficult on the games normal mode (short levels, not to much shooting at you, just flying at you fast), the game steps up on hard difficulty (second play) with long levels and plenty shooting at you. The bosses are quite easy and don’t take to much effort to beat. just a few hits with the energy bomb.

After beating these two modes, I then show Zanki Attack mode. The idea of this mode is to get through it with as many lives left as possible and you do this by dodging the enemy and shooting them as little as possible as they explode into a mass of bullets. The score is irrelevant. However thx to emulation I go for max score anyway. It is definitely not ment to be beaten this way Wink
