Live Action Parody from the Dead Island 2 Trailer.

Cringe worthy. You’ve been warned.

This was made as a small experimental project for a video editing class. The task was to do a remake of an existing trailer, but without the use of SFX or CGI, so apart from the compilation of the clips, addition of filters, the music and other small fixes, everything else on screen had to be real or simulated stuff, that’s why there are no explosions or limos.

It turned out as gringy like this because we had very little time to develop the pre-production plan for everything and we changed the idea at the last moment (We were originally going to do a remake of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie trailer) so we had to improvise EVERYTHING on the same day we recorded. We somehow managed to finish it before it got dark.
