Congratulations to all my Genesis teammates for crushing the Sanity’s Edge World Record, shaving almost 2 and a half minutes off the previous record set by Dragon Imperium in U39. This score took about a month and half to prog.

Here, I showcase a mashup of our boss fights from various WR runs while tanking on a sorc tank. Sorc tanking was a fairly tricky spec to play in vSE, since it only has access to stam chains and no skills to actively return stamina while blocking.

Stamina sustain on Yaseyla was fairly tricky at first as an OT as you’re forced to hold block during Shrapnel/Wamasu Breath combos while ensuring archers get chained. I had to dig into my bag of tricks here to make sure I was sustaining the whole fight while controlling the archers and wamasus properly.

On the Chimera, I was put in two medium armor sets (PA/Alkosh/Naz) and was thus fairly squishy. Here, I showcase my method of stacking Arctic Shreds and Meteors while holding the boss basically the entire time, trying to keep PA up for both sides, and doing some damage to the boss. As you can see, it involves a lot of roll dodging and careful play to not get shredded. PA was quite an annoyance to keep up since I switch sides based on shred and meteor timers (20s), but PA is only 15s – so I had to overcast it quite a bit. I never really focused too hard on my damage rotation since the other aspects of the fight require a lot of precision, so I didn’t play too well in that respect.

Main-tanking Ansuul was another fun endeavor with managing stam of holding the boss still and facing foward while rolling wracks, chaining imps, and keeping up PA. We did not have a 5th support nor a dedicated interrupter for this fight either, so the tasks of ele-sussing atros and interrupting them also fell largely to me. Our Ansuul in this run was a little slow, but only to be expected in a full vit run.
You might also notice I that I made a 1.2.1 update to Sanity’s Edge Helper to show the HP% to the execute threshold next to the firebombs timer. The firebombs timer goes from ~23.5s to 11s when Yaseyla crosses the 26% HP threshold. Thus, if more than 11s has elapsed since the last firebombs (meaning the timer is under ~12.5s) when Yaseyla hits 26%, she will do instant firebombs.
