I can’t believe it’s finally happened – Homeworld 3 has been announced! It is currently in pre-production with the same developers that brought us the HD remasters of Homeworld 1 and 2, as well as the prequel game, Deserts of Kharak. Homeworld 3 intends to continue the story of the original games with more space combat RTS action, but the announcement comes with a twist – crowdfunding campaign on Fig with a goal of $1, and the potential for anti-consumer practices.
