Here’s how you get rid of villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

This is all I know about making VILLAGERS MOVE OUT from your island 👞 No time travel needed (but obviously it makes the process faster)! Time stamps & corrections below!

🌼 Some CORRECTIONS: (ty guys for some of these!🤗) 🌼

1) it takes about 5 days (not 14) for the thought bubble to appear again if you tell a villager to stay (but still I’d just close the game not to waste 5 days. you might wanna try this after awhile if the thought bubble keeps appearing on your favorite villager. if you tell your favorite to stay there is a good chance the bubble moves on to another one and skips the villager you asked to stay) 😊

2) the move out thought bubble can possibly appear on your newest villager too (i’ve never seen it happen to me personally though) and from what i’ve gathered it is quite rare so i wouldn’t really bet on it (especially if you wanna save time/kick villagers out quickly). but it can be possible.

3) most of this guide is according to my personal experience playing the game, if I mentioned thoughout this video that somethings never happen, it might just mean it never happened to me (e.g. newest villager wanting to leave) however since this guide is mainly focused on kicking out villagers QUICKLY and also just the general tips of making a villager leave so I haven’t included such rare events (like your newest villager wanting to leave etc) to it so you don’t waste time waiting if that possibly happens (but if it does, nice!)

4) this video is also relatively old so there might be updates to the game that might change the mechanics of kicking villagers out

I hope this helps! Especially when you’re kicking out just that one specific villager it might take some time before they want to go (and it is obviously so much easier to make them leave with a campsite visitor or amiibo)! But if that’s not an option just keep lowering the friendship, be patient and good luck yeeting your nightmare!! 👋😆🍀
