Hyper Light Breaker is the dazzling follow up to Hyper Light Drifter.
Hyper Light Drifter is finally getting a spiritual follow-up, and it looks ridiculously sick.
On Thursday, Heart Machine announced Hyper Light Breaker, an action RPG that builds on what made Hyper Light Drifter an indie classic.
However, unlike that game, Hyper Light Breaker shifts to a 3D perspective, and there’s an emphasis on co-op.
In an interview with IGN , creative director Alx Preston explains that Hyper Light Breaker’s online co-op is more intricate than you might expect.

“When we say online cooperative play, we mean multiple players, not just you and another person,” Preston said.
“We’re looking at a group of players that can go out and kill some monsters together.”
