Dead Space is a sci-fi survival horror video game published in 2008 for PS3, XBOX360 and MS Windows platforms. The game is critically acclaimed as one of the best games in its genre winning many industry awards, various critics and players praised the game for its atmosphere, gameplay and sound design. The remake of the game is under development.

Dead Space is set in 26th century on a mining spaceship USG Ishimura performing illegal mining operations on a nearby planet Aegis VII. Player steps into the role of an engineer Isaac Clarke. Having received a video distress call from Nicole (Isaac’s girlfriend and a medical officer onboard Ishimura), a search and rescue mission is launched. The mission goes sideways due to failed docking operation and it soon changes into a battle for survival against a deadly enemy.
