This video is updated for Mass Effect Legendary Edition and covers EVERYTHING you need to know about the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2. I’ll cover all the major factors that impact your crew’s survivability for the Omega-4 Relay: squad loyalty, must-have ship upgrades, mission timers, and squad selection during the mission itself.
Earning your squadmates’ loyalty by completing their personal missions and resolving major interpersonal conflicts (Jack vs Miranda and Tali vs Legion) is essential.
It’s also important to complete the following upgrades for the Normandy: Thanix Cannon, Heavy Ship Armor and Multicore Shielding.
I’ll also show you how to save all kidnapped Normandy crew members by completing missions at the proper time so you can reach the Collector base in time to save them.
During the mission, I’ll show you which squadmates are right for each specialist role. I’ll also cover how to keep disloyal squadmates alive and how to calculate your squad’s survival during the final “hold the line” phase of the mission.
