In this New Star Wars game news update video we breakdown the announcement of a brand new Star Wars game from Lucasfilm Games and Skydance New Media. The game is said to be a “narrative-driven, action-adventure game featuring an original story in the Star Wars galaxy” and will be directed by Amy Hennig known for Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series (Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception) and Jak and Daxter.

A new report out of Dualshockers claims that this game is actually a revival of Project Ragtag, which was a Star Wars game being developed by Amy Hennig at EA Visceral before ultimately cancelled. The report also states that the game will be set during the Imperial Era and Rebel Alliance. This announcement is incredibly exciting because it adds to the list of exciting upcoming Star Wars games featuring: Jedi: Fallen Order 2, Star Wars: Eclipse, Ubisoft’s Star Wars game, the KOTOR Remake, and many more.

The brand new Star Wars game out of Skydance New Media, codenamed Project Walton, is not the only reason to be excited about the studio. Last year the studio announced a project with Marvel to develop “an all-new game with an original story and their unique take for beloved Marvel characters.”
