Overwatch 2 2023 / PC, PS4, XONE, SWITCH – Official Cinemantic Trailer

The sequel to Overwatch includes a full story mode, the ability to customize heroes, new multiplayer modes.

Overwatch 2 features new PvE (player versus environment) and PvP (player versus player) modes. An example of the first type of mode is Story Experience. An example of the second type of mode is “Pressure”. The modes are coming along with new maps and heroes, a new HUD, a major engine update for Overwatch and Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2 shares heroes and maps with the original Overwatch – and there is cross-play between the two PvP games. The games also have a common client. If an Overwatch account purchases Overwatch 2, all cosmetics and achievements from the original will carry over to Overwatch 2. The remastered skins of all current heroes are exclusive to Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2 features PvE story missions set after Overwatch. In these missions, the player can upgrade and customize abilities. In addition, these missions contain items of various rarities that the player can pick up and use to perform various effects (healing, damage, creating a barrier, and more).

Hero Talents:
As Jeff Kaplan said at BlizzCon 2019, PvE has Hero Talents that enhance Hero abilities through experience and a leveling system.

Graphic arts:
The heroes of the game came up with an artistic alteration. Design changes varied from hero to hero, but each design strove to be true to the hero’s key story, hinting at where the heroes traveled or who they spent time with between games. Evolutions in technology, such as new shaders and lighting, have provided increased character detail, which translates into more emotion through facial expressions and body language. To further improve the feel of the world, the art team explored ways to advance technology and bring environments to life with weather systems for change, improved clothing, new particles, and successive events. Improved the dynamic weather effects first introduced in Storm Rising.
