Arkane is a studio that I’m a ride-or-die for. The entire Dishonored series and Prey are some of the best video games I’ve ever played. Even with all the reasons that Redfall gave us to not believe in it, I still went in confident this would be at least a fine time. Let’s just say that I was not prepared for the technical state, creative bankruptcy, and steps backward that Redfall ultimately is. Each time I fired it up, there was one game that kept coming to mind: Fallout 76.
