Bandai Namco has announced a new Action JRPG called Scarlet Nexus. The title promises a deep story-driven experience that is crafted by the minds behind the iconic Tales of Vesperia and produced by the same team behind Code Vein. In this article, we’ll discuss the information known and things we expect of this title, given Bandai’s previous work with other futuristic and post-apocalyptic series.

We greatly enjoyed Bandai Namco’s last ARPG souls-like game Code Vein, and we can’t wait to see if the studio decides on a sequel, but in the meantime it seems we are taking a detour to yet another New IP, coming to both current and next gen consoles. According to Scarlet Nexus’ producer Keita Iizuka, who was also the producer of Code Vein:

The next generation of video game home consoles lets the development team realize the full potential of Scarlet Nexus and players can expect visuals and psychic battles with high resolution and frame rate along with fully interactive real-time battles with dynamic animation. Utilizing Smart Delivery on Xbox Series X also means players can enjoy the best version of Scarlet Nexus regardless of whether they are playing on the next generation with Xbox Series X or Xbox One.
