Stellar Blade is an upcoming 2023 action-adventure hack and slash video game developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5.

Taking place on a post-apocalyptic earth dominated by alien invaders, Stellar Blade follows Eve, a young woman on a mission to reclaim the world by working together with the people of Xion, the last surviving city. In her quest, she becomes acquainted with Adam and Lily, two of Xion’s survivors. Stellar Blade is an action game presented from third-person perspective, with players controlling Eve as she comes into conflict with NA:tives, ferocious alien lifeforms who took over the earth beyond Xion.

Stellar Blade began work under the title Project Eve and started as a self-published multiplatform title. Development is handled by Shift Up’s Second Eve Studio, and is the first console game produced by the studio after previously working on mobile titles. Studio head Kim Hung Tae serves as the game’s director and artist. Shift Up announced the title in 2019. In 2022, the final title was revealed to be Stellar Blade, with Sony taking publishing duties and game becoming console exclusive to the PlayStation 5.
