Breath of the Wild 2 (BOTW 2) has managed to build an excessive amount of hype and excitement, thanks in no small part to the many mysteries arising from the teaser trailers. As we approach the 3 year anniversary of the first look way back in June 2019, it seems a fitting time to try and answer one of the greatest mysteries that remains unanswered – who or what is the strange green hand?
Today’s theory will focus on one of the potential answers to that question and be prepared…it’s likely the last person you might possibly think. Surprisingly though, the evidence to hand builds a strong case and begs some greater questions about events of the past that could play a larger role in the premise for BOTW 2.
As always, I’d love to hear from you and your thoughts on this concept. There’s no right or wrong and all comments are welcome. My favourite part of the Legend of Zelda is the mysteries and the way the community has managed to make such an amazing franchise even better by helping to build out the world, the lore and the Legend.
