Inspired by Operation Downfall, this is the American last phase on the Japanese mainland. This is Operation Coronet, Tokyo’s last stand, where the Japanese defend the heart of their homeland, including the Imperial Palace. This is where are the most fanatic defenders, with some insane experimental prototype equipment at their disposal, including the famous Tiger tank, which they bought from Germans but never arrived at them. For fun lore, we still included it, just like you see the O-I super-heavy tank in action, an absolute beast of engineering.
What you’re about to see is the firebombing of Tokyo, with intense street fights, comparable to events in Ukraine, Mariupol.
The previous episode was a lot of story-telling but in this Part 2 we get straight into the business, you’ve been waiting for. Keep in mind the Fall of Tokyo is a fictional event, that hypothetically could have happened if Japan never surrendered.
